Things to do to start your morning right

Hello everyone! Welcome back to the Teen Boss Babes Blog, We hope you all are staying safe and fighting against injustice. Today, this blog post is going to be the things you should do to start your morning right, for most people school is officially over and you probably want to have a good morning routine so you can start your day on the right track. I hope you all enjoy this blog post, so sit back, enjoy, and let’s get into it.


Stretch/Workout


The first thing you should do when you wake up is to stretch because your body has been still for 6-8 hours so when you stretch you getting some blood circulating properly after you stretch you should workout to get the endorphins going for the day.


Meditate or Pray


When you wake up, you have to have peace of mind so if meditating helps or if praying helps, do it because when I meditate and pray I feel so much better even though I haven’t done much in the day yet.


Read or Listen to a podcast episode


In the morning, I love to listen to the podcast so maybe “Teen Boss Babes Podcast” or my podcast “The Bloom Podcast” by Akunna O. You can learn something, that you can implement into any aspect of your life. If you are more of a reader, you can read as well, and especially now reading or listening to a podcast episode on police brutality or racism makes you learn something that is VERY important.


Plan your day


I LOVE to plan like it’s crazy I think I have a planner for literally every aspect of my life but back to the topic, when I plan my day it makes me think about ways I can strategize my day so that I can use my time wisely and not waste the day procrastinating.


Daily affirmations


As humans, we have insecurities or might deal with low self-esteem, etc, I personally think that reciting your daily affirmations will help your subconscious mind thinking the opposite of your insecurities. If you don’t know what daily affirmations, daily affirmations are written things you recite that are positive and can increase your self-confidence or self-esteem, like for example; I am a happy person, I love my curves, etc. You might not mean it at the moment but reciting it will help you and most of the time people don’t know that their way of thinking is different so please do it, it may change the way you think of yourself in the morning.


Eat a healthy breakfast


Lastly, eat a healthy breakfast, you might say that it’s summer now and that you can eat whatever, and that’s true but you want to eat healthy so that you can put the right nutrients in your system. Also so that the first thing you digest is nutritious and your body can use it to start the day off on a good start.
